Pallavi Rebbapragada is a journalist who predominantly covers politics and policy. She started her career as an international correspondent with the India Today Group and reporting on culture and business from Europe, Middle East and the Far East. Her last stint was with Firstpost where she wrote political analysis and reported on social and political realities across Indian states. She now works as a policy fellow with the Delhi Vidhan Sabha. In her spare time, she enjoys writing prose poetry. In 2017, she published her first book Upon a Bright Red Bench, which is a collection of life stories narrated in the voice of a red bench. The genre is prose poetry. The book was assessed at the Yale Writers’ Conference in 2014 and launched at the London Book Fair.
