Ms. Ruchhita Kazaria

My name is Ruchhita Kazaria and I’m from Kolkata. I am a poet (Writing mainly political and activism poems in English & Hindustani) by choice and a peace activist (Between India & Pakistan) by passion; Aman Ki Asha.

I am also an Executive Body Member of WEBFUNA; West Bengal Federation of United Nations Association. 

I have recently, in 2016, also lectured at ICCR; Azad Bhawan on the influx of Buddhism & Hinduism in Vietnam (As an initiative of the Indo-Vietnam Solidarity Committee) in February 2016 and again on the 18th Century Foreign painters painting Indian Subjects, in October 2016. 

As a poet, I have been invited to the Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival in 2016 alongside the Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet; Kalam in 2016 and 2017. I have also been a part of the Sampark Literary Festival in 2016. I have also been a part of the International Kolkata Book Fair, both, as a poet and a compere; in 2016 and 2017, reading on Saadat Hasan Manto in 2016 and for the American Consulate in 2017. 

I am also an editor with Bloomsbury Publishing (The name behind Harry Potter).
